P. Jeffrey North is an attorney
with eight years of experience in the legal staffing industry. Jeff was the Managing
Director of the Interim Legal Services and Interim Attorneys offices for 5 years in
Denver. Later, he was the Director of Strategic Accounts with The Affiliates, the legal
staffing division of Robert Half International, Inc. He is now the Managing Partner of
Juris Resources®. Prior to his staffing
industry experience Jeff had an impressive career as an attorney. Most recently, he was a
litigation partner in the Denver office of Baker & Hostetler - one of the nation's
largest law firms - where he managed complex professional liability litigation
involving civil claims against the directors, officers, attorneys, appraisers and
accountants of failed financial institutions. |
| Before he joined Baker &
Hostetler, Jeff was the Regional Counsel of the Western Region of the Resolution Trust
Corporation which – in its day – was the largest corporate law department in the
country. At the RTC, Jeff supervised all operations in 4 offices employing 426 attorneys
plus support staff. Under his direction, the Region operated or liquidated more than 100
failed depository institutions with cumulative assets valued in excess of $90 billion. In
addition to his management responsibilities, Jeff was involved in the design and roll-out
of a comprehensive state-of-the-art outside counsel program by which his Region’s $90
million budget was managed and – over time – significantly reduced. Jeff is a summa cum laude graduate of West Virginia University where
he studied economics as an undergraduate and completed his law degree (BA 1975, JD 1978).
He has a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics and he was named an Alfred P.
Sloan Fellow of the London Business School where he completed MBA coursework. Jeff is
admitted in Colorado, California, Virginia & West Virginia. |
